  11. Per Supra instructions, I've plugged my phone into my Supra 28.8E and the 
  12. outside phone line into the modem. When I receive a voice call, the phone 
  13. gives three or four strange 'half-rings' and then stops. My callers,
  14. both local and toll, report that they hear one ring and then a continual 
  15. fast busy. The problem occurs when the computer and modem are on or off. 
  16. I had the phone line checked and it's okay. Likewise, the phone and 
  17. cables. When I completely disconnect the modem and connect the phone 
  18. directly to the outside line, I receive calls normally. Is this the 
  19. result of poor modem configuration on my part or is it a modem hardware 
  20. problem? Any help will be appreciated.
